Happy Memorial Day

It's been quite a while since I've posted here. Like usual, same reason... just real busy with life. Rather than getting into what I've been doing the last few months I'll just start with today...

It's Memorial Day and we've been having the most incredible weather all weekend. Actually, the weather the entire month of may has been wonderful. My garden has gone crazy with all the warmth, sun and just the right amount of rain. I've been gardening for about 16 years and it has the most therapeutic benefits! The digging, the planting, the color, the texture, the scent ... it's all great! This time of year the plants are so lush, green and beautiful even if they aren't in bloom yet. My favorite part of gardening is walking around early in the morning and visiting all my favorite spots. Have a peek...

Happy Memorial Day ....

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. — General George S. Patton
